In most cases, we can install artificial grass directly over the existing terrace. If you have tiles, concrete or another suitable hard surface, there is usually no need to remove it and create a new sand or sub-base. As long as the existing surface is sound, reasonably level and free from significant bumps or defects, we can prepare it and secure the artificial grass directly to the surface. This is one of the reasons artificial grass works so well on terraces. There is far less disruption, no need to remove tonnes of existing material and, where the terrace is already suitable, the installation can be completed quickly and cleanly. We assess the surface first and will tell you honestly if any preparation is needed.
